Therapy for Work Stress
When Work is All-Consuming
Does your job take up a lot of real estate in your mind? Do you find yourself constantly thinking about work even when you’re not on the clock? Many clients come to me for help managing their work-related stress. Work is an important part of our lives, but we also need to learn how to manage the stressors associated, so it doesn’t take up all of our capacity, leaving us drained for the other parts of our lives.

The Hamster Wheel of Work
Many of my clients that are struggling with work stress report tricky bosses, difficult employees they manage, fast-paced environments, and never ending deadlines they can barely keep up with. They push and grind to finish a project or write a proposal only to be assigned another with even higher expectations this time around. They may not feel acknowledged for all the work they do and feel stuck on a hamster wheel they aren’t sure how to get off of. They earn a good living, but don’t feel like they are living a life that makes them happy or fulfilled. They walk around feeling like a shell of themselves, sometimes robotic, because work requires so much time, energy and mental/emotional drain. They feel like they are giving their leftovers to their loved ones and aren’t able to fully develop the other parts of their lives like self, hobbies, and planning their future. They are truly just trying to survive the day-to-day.
Career Uncertainty & Transition
Many of my clients are also undergoing career uncertainty or career transitions. I️ have walked countless clients through this process that can feel anxiety-inducing and overwhelming. You may have thought about “getting out” of your current role, but not sure where that would land you, if that’s realistic, or what you might pivot to next if you did make a change. When you are chronically stressed and in survival mode, it becomes harder to see solutions to change your circumstances. I️ find many clients in Orange County struggle to create time in their lives to plan their next move because they are so engrossed in the day-to-day stress. Together we can create that time and space to examine how your life is going, if you’re truly happy and fulfilled with your work, and if it may be time to make a transition.

Let's Give You Tools to Make Real Change
I️ work with clients to find real solutions that don’t threaten your work performance, but help you to manage your time effectively and cope well with the pressures put on you at work. We start by helping you address the pressures you’re putting on yourself and re-frame some of your intense critical self-talk and unrealistic expectations you may have for yourself. We look at what you can do to manage high intensity meetings, impending deadlines, employee/managerial relations and client relationships while also taking care of yourself and the things and people that matter to you.
When it Feels Scary to Start
I️ know sometimes it feels like it’s never a good time to work on changing these things, but most clients I️ work with report having a deep feeling for a long time that something needed to change before they took action. They report to me wishing they would’ve started earlier before their physical health, mental health and personal relationships were as significantly impacted.

Let's Build a Life That Feels Good on the Inside
I️ want to instill hope that work life balance is achievable with the right perspective and tools. It can feel overwhelming to make those changes alone, and that’s why I️’m here to help. After working with Orange County entrepreneurs and corporate employees for almost 10 years, I️ deeply understand the work-heavy culture of Orange County and the Irvine/Newport Beach area. The nature of hustle is imbedded in the culture here, and growing up with this being normalized, many of us never learned how to achieve better balance. I️’m here to help you learn how to succeed in work while better balancing the other needs and desires you have. I️’m here to help you build a career that makes you proud, and that feels good inside.
